RaiseCloud 3D printing software launches in beta – 3DPMN

3D printer manufacturer Raise3D announced this week that its cloud-based printing management software, RaiseCloud, has launched for the public in beta form. The software platform will enable Raise3D printer users to remotely monitor and control prints and further automate the AM workflow.

With the RaiseCloud Beta launch, users can sign up to use the 3D printing software and provide feedback to the company to identify any bugs or offer recommendations for improvement. Raise3D writes: “With the support of beta testers like you, we can enhance our 3D printing technology before a product release. As a participant, you can share your ideas, and together we can create the best possible technology!”

Primarily known for its professional extrusion-based 3D printers, Raise3D is aiming to improve and streamline the 3D printing process for its clients with the introduction of a dedicated, fully integrated software platform.

The features offered through RaiseCloud include task management, customizable workflow, centralized slicing profile management and visualized reporting, which provides an analysis of print jobs undertaken.

The software is aimed at enabling companies and adopters of Raise3D printers to more easily manage multiple users and printers from a remote location. Raise3D also emphasizes that its cloud-based software platform is customizable, meaning that it can be adapted for various business environments and “tuned to keep teams synchronized and work flow management efficient.”

Built for business, the software also boasts good security, with 64bit encryption, a high performance AWS server firewall, key authentication for file transfer and CDN global acceleration and authorized binding encryption for the 3D printers.

To test out Raise3D’s RaiseCloud Beta software, Raise3D printer owners simply need to make and account and sign in to the RaiseCloud login and bind their 3D printer (or printers) to the account—instructions for which can be found on the company’s website. As of yet, there is no indication when the finalized RaiseCloud software will be released.
