Mobile Fire Rescue rescues woman who fell into manhole – WEAR


Mobile Fire Rescue units responded to the scene where a woman fell down and became stuck inside of a manhole in the woods near Saint Paul’s Episcopal School around noon on Saturday.

The woman was a Spring Hill College student and injured her ankles when she fell into the manhole, a spokeswoman for Spring Hill College confirmed.

The spokeswoman said that the girl was with a small group of students scouting potential filming locations for a student film when she accidentally fell into the manhole.

Mobile Fire-Rescue said she fell about 15 feet into the manhole. They brought in technical rescue units and she was pulled out and taken by ambulance to University Hospital.
